CHOYA tours takes you to live an unforgettable experience with these giant mammals, just a few meters away, and if you are lucky, touch one of the friendly whales.

Join us to Magdalena Bay, located 273 km from the city of La Paz, where you can watch the gray whale, which is an animal that measures 12 to 16 meters and can weigh 20 to 35 tons.

The migration that makes this whale is considered the longest of any mammal ever, traveling about 16,000 miles over 6 months of back and forth, from the Arctic to Baja California Sur in organized groups to breed and shelter from the cold North.

During their migration, they can swim without stopping for periods of 20 hours at a speed of 4 knots (about 7 miles per hour), up to 10 knots or faster.
